- Chris Fallon is currently the Assistant Deputy Commissioner of Communications for the Massachusetts Department of Correction. He started his career in corrections 24 years ago as a Corrections Officer after serving for 6 years in the United States Navy aboard a nuclear submarine. During his career, Chris rose through the ranks of Sergeant, Lieutenant and Captain. He has worked at facilities ranging from minimum security to maximum security. For nearly 2 years, Chris was the Captain of the Department Disciplinary Unit (DDU). The DDU is a 124 bed long term segregation unit for Massachusetts’ most violent and disruptive offenders. Other notable items during his career include working as a Drill Instructor at the Massachusetts Boot Camp, working at the Massachusetts Alcohol and Substance Abuse Center, where civilly committed individuals are committed by the courts for up to 90 days for intensive substance abuse treatment and detoxification. During his career, Chris Fallon has received several awards, including the Governor’s Citation for Outstanding Performance.
