- Job Description Manage and oversee the Executive Office and a staff of the 400 +/- employees; as well as the workflow within the office to effectively manage competing priorities, and other duties, as assigned; Develop department policies, plans and programs for the Commissioner and assist the Deputy Commissioners in carrying out their assigned duties; Coordinate the management of statewide construction, real estate, leasing and facilities management in the development of statewide policies regarding all critical concerns to the Commonwealth; Design and manage strategic and operational planning processes to ensure that office policy and program goals, priorities, objectives and strategies are established; communications and action plans are developed and effectively implemented; policy and program development and analysis is integrated and strategic; decision-making processes are collaborative and effective; and working relationships between the Executive Office and Departments are coordinated and productive; Serve as Director of Communications, including directing agency communication with federal, state and municipal entities to support major agency projects and initiatives; Assist the DCAMM Office of Finance and Administration and Office of Planning in the creation and messaging of the $2B+ Five-Year Capital Plan.
