O'Sullivan Retires from One SouthCoast Chamber

One SouthCoast Chamber CEO MIKE O'SULLIVAN retires Friday after eight years leading the organization. IAN TROMBLY, the chamber's vice president of public policy, will serve as interim CEO. During his tenure, O'Sullivan oversaw the integration of the Bristol County Chamber of Commerce and SouthCoast Chamber of Commerce, creating One SouthCoast Chamber and an associated foundation. It is now the third largest chamber in the state. O'Sullivan formerly held advertising and publishing roles, according to his LinkedIn, including as publisher of newspapers in upstate New York and Rhode Island. Trombly has been at the chamber since 2023, and previously worked as a district representative for Congressman Keating and a government affairs specialist at SouthCoast Health. "I'm grateful to Mike for his leadership and mentorship, and to the Board for placing its trust in me. My great-grandparents came from Madeira, Portugal, and settled on the South Coast. Generations later, it's where my wife and I are raising our two children. I love this region and believe in its potential. A strong business community is essential to its success," Trombly said.
